The company wanted to create an ultimate guide for end clients and for service providers. They were looking for a web based application that will appeal to a large client base and the company could reap huge benefits with the inclusion of major service providers. The solution had to be such that it could be maintained and updated at the administrator level.

Mycitysbest.com was developed with an aim of providing a customized search platform for the end client and the service providers. It enables the former in getting an overview of all the major services in a particular area, and is an organized directory for the latter to advertise their special services.

It provides a complete solution to the client and saves him from the hassle of searching through various directories for separate services. Service providers get the best opportunity to showcase their services and their specialties to end client in the most effective and comprehensive pattern. The solution is based on the following technical format:

Three-tier architecture has been developed which enables the administrator, the advertiser and the end user to manage their respective functions.

An administrator module has been developed through which the main administrator can control the entire process of web application. His functionalities include:

	Authorization: Administrator is empowered to give authorization to advertisers to place their links in the web application.
	CMS: The administrator has complete control over the Content and can edit content on the web application when ever a need arises.

Banner Advertisement: Through which advertisers can choose to showcase banner of their companies on all the pages. It is a paid facility and detailed information through banners is showcased on the web application.
Listings Advertisement: Implementation of this paid feature advertisers to advertise their services in a detailed manner and also enable them to get subscription under various categories to get better results.
Free Advertisement: This facility has been implemented for those advertisers who whish to display only a very basic information about their services.
