Role: Sr. Manager – Delivery Compliances

Role Description

Icreon focuses on building and delivering software solutions for customers with a great emphasis on agile and continuous improvement while keeping ahead with advanced technologies, bringing them into the customer's solution. The practice in which the team engages and delivers is aimed at supporting the customer journey in digital transformations.

To support the teams in Icreon across the geography, Icreon has setup a centralized Project Management Office (PMO). The manager will be overall responsible for all the activities in the scope of the PMO, including building a forward-looking strategy to increase the effectiveness and value addition by the PMO.

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Compliance Process Implementation – Drive implementation of delivery compliance processes and programs. Providing necessary support, training, and coaching to project teams to use defined delivery management frameworks. Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
  2. Quantitative Delivery Management - Identifying relevant project data and applying quantitative project management concepts to perform metrics analysis and report predictability, risks, resource allocation, and project budgets.
  3. Manage Delivery Tool – As JIRA is used as a Project Management tool and integrated with other tools, keeping up to date with the emerging need for change in the project execution process to improve the efficiency and keeping process lean and leveraging new opportunities in the tool to make the process effective.  
  4. Compliance Reporting– Connecting with key stakeholders across the locations to understand their reporting needs, structuring the reports accordingly, and delivering at the defined frequency. Proactively coming up with new reports and suggesting stakeholders for their use. Identifying ways to automate report preparation to minimize human efforts. Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
  5. Team Management -Manage and lead PMO team and empower them to lead their own tasks. Attract, develop, and retain talent in the team to ensure that people have the right skills and motivation to meet PMO objectives and are in the right place and at the right time.
  6. Innovation and Continuous Improvement - Encourage the team to constantly seek ways to improve efficiency and stakeholders’ satisfaction via innovative approaches to common challenges. Implement and lead innovative solutions. - Initiate and contribute new ideas to the processes. Show familiarity with the latest trends in PMO functions and innovations. Continuously work to remove barriers to innovation and prevent the discouragement of innovators by providing positive reinforcement of innovation, including recognition and rewards.
  7. Cross-Team Collaboration: Connecting with key stakeholders from different departments and levels to understand their needs and come up with a roadmap to align with the business goals

 

Critical Experiences

  1. 12+ years’ experience, out of which the last 5 years experience in implementing delivery processes at an enterprise level across locations.
  2. Proven project management background.
  3. Good understanding and experience of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban etc.) principles, procedures, project metrics analysis, and Project Management tool such as JIRA.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  5. Worked in a multi-location environment where teams are located across multiple time zones

Credentials

  • Project or Program Management Certification from PMI, SAFe etc.
  • Experience in coaching/training teams in Agile processes

  • Collaborating with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
  • Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
  • Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Executives.
  • Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
  • Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.

PMO Manager Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Administration, or a related field.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification may be advantageous.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in the industry.
  • A minimum of one year's experience in a supervisory position may be advantageous.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details and technicalities.
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills.
  • Good interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
