Content Hub upgrade: expanded template functionality
Previously, only Projects and Collections could be created from a template. With the new release, Content Hub now allows administrators to enable template-based creation for any of the schema configurations in Content Hub.
This feature shortens the time it takes to create new entities. It carries over the properties of the source entity to the new entity. However, users can still make changes to the new entity to differentiate it from the original.
Improved image processing and FBX support for 3D preview
Image processing in Content Hub now supports files with up to 64 channels or masks, thus expanding the range of image formats that content managers can work with. 3D asset preview for .fbx file formats is now supported.
Forms now integrated with XM Cloud media library
Media assets available in XM Cloud are now available for forms. This ensures that the same media assets are used for forms and on the website to ensure a uniform journey and messaging across all visitor touchpoints.
Automatic post-test actions in SC Personalize
With the new post-test actions within Sitecore Personalize, users can specify automatic actions based on whether the conclusive winner is decided or if the test was inconclusive.
This ensures immediate action and eliminates the need to manually define or configure the next step to improve the user experience.
More targeted region-based personalization for United States
OOTB condition is now available for country-based personalization. This feature allows websites to personalize visitors’ experiences based on specific states within the United States. This condition currently only supports the United States.
XM Cloud publishing improvement | 14 | IMP
Much-needed improvement to publishing flow is now generally available. Previously, the pages in the Pages editor only published the page that is currently open; however, with the new release, content editors can now publish content along with sub-pages and across languages.
Content Hub ONE media asset updates
This month Content Hub and Content Hub ONE products received some good updates for asset operations. Content Hub got a new crop option for thumbnails in search results and duplicate asset visibility (23 | IMP). Content Hub ONE now has extended file support, new default locale setting, increased content type limits and new card view for media list page (28 | NEW).
These new updates bring closer both Content Hub and Content Hub One feature capabilities.
